Hey Foamers,

I have a simple 2D cavity with inlet / outlet flow. When I simulate in PISO, and PIMPLE, I get unusual pressure bands at the inlet. See attached images.

There is nothing unusual I can see in my boundary conditions!

p inlet is zero gradient
p outlet is fixed value, uniform 0

U inlet is fixed value, uniform, 0.05 directed inwards
U outlet is zero gradient.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

-Dave
