Depending on what you want to do, perhaps it's best that you look into the Overset Mesh feature in OpenFOAM.com (not OpenFOAM.org which doesn't have this feature yet :( ).

They have now ))) but doesn't contain 6DOF
I believe one day we will have not only fast overset but also contain all features in OpenFOAM. Maybe they need some mutualization :D:D |
