Hi,
I'm using OF2.0.0 and now I try to simulate combustion in porous media. After searching in the forum and user's guide, I found porousExplicitSourceReactingParcelFoam solver. I tried to run the first case offered for this solver (filter). A porous zone was interned in the porousZones dictionary, but it hasn't use in the blockMeshDic or other places.

So I have two questions:

Is the above solver suitable for solving a reacting flow in the porous media?
Does porousExplicitSourceReactingParcelFoam solve a non reacting flow in a POROUS MEDIA in the filter case?

BEST REGARDS,

Dear Sachin,
Finally, we have to develop a new solver based on reactingFoam (which uses pimple algorithm) to simulate combustion in porous media. also you should add a equation to solve solid temperature and or use equivalent conductivity an solve just one energy equation.

Best Regards,
Hossein
