boundary conditions in tutorial example "nozzleFlow2D"

Dear all,

I want to simulate flow through different geometries and have therefore had a look at the OF Solver interFoam. A convenient example which is quite similar to what I want to simulate is the tutorial "nozzleFlow2D" which is located in "../tutorials/multiphase/interFoam/les/nozzleFlow2D"

The tutorial works well, but I'm a bit puzzled: In the 0/alpha1 (initial conditions for alpha1) it is specified that alpha1 = 1 at the inlet (and 0 everywhere else). However, when I open the case in ParaView to have a look at the initial conditions, it says that alpha1 ranges between 0 and 0.67737 . Now I wonder whether this has anything to do with the coordinate system? Where do I specify it? And what can I change to have alpha1 = 1 at the inlet?

Thanks for your advice,
Natalie
