How to use boundaryFoam?

Hi,

Just as boundaryFoam says:it can generate boundary layer conditions at an inlet for use.But how can I use this?I always dont know how to set the initial value of k and epsilon.Maybe this solver would help me out.

My thought is : generate a 1D mesh called inlet, and run boundaryfoam, then mapfield to my case.

But in the tutorial, the 1D mesh's height is only 5e-5m, but my case's inlet is about 0.5m,

How should I do? Thanks in advance.
