How to use boundaryFoam? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

sharonyue Senior Member Dongyue Li Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Beijing, China Posts: 838 Rep Power: 17	Hi, Just as boundaryFoam says:it can generate boundary layer conditions at an inlet for use.But how can I use this?I always dont know how to set the initial value of k and epsilon.Maybe this solver would help me out. My thought is : generate a 1D mesh called inlet, and run boundaryfoam, then mapfield to my case. But in the tutorial,the 1D mesh's height is only 5e-5m, but my case's inlet is about 0.5m, How should I do? Thanks in advance.
