Dear all,

I am using pimpleDyMFoam in OF-2.1.0 with rotating parts.

My geometry is obtained from pointwise which gives me 5 files that I put in the constant/polyMesh directory. I modified some of the boundary conditions to be able to visualize the grid with paraFoam.

Now that I execute the pimpleDyMFoam command, I receive the following errors at the fisrt time step :
-------------------------------------------

Create mesh for time = 0

Selecting dynamicFvMesh solidBodyMotionFvMesh
Selecting solid-body motion function rotatingMotion
Applying solid body motion to cellZone bladesAndRotor

Have some already encountered this type of issue and/or is able to help me out?

Thank you all for your time.

My best regards.

I've been trying to set up a case analogous to the propeller tutorial. I get a similar error.

I have used stl geometries and snappyHexMesh to generate the mesh. Except for some skewed cells checkMesh doesn't complain.

Artur will become famous soon enough
I think I know what your problem is. See this post:

(you renamed your cellZone too as far as I can tell from the snippet you posted)
