Non zero gradient on symmetry axis

Hi Foamers !
I am trying to simulate the pyrolysis of a piece of wood. I use a 2D axisymmetric mesh. I have a problem on the axis : there is a non zero pressure and temperature gradient (see on the pictures). This gradient pushes heat through the axis. It leads to a sink of heat and momentum. I have tried several boundary condition on the axis : symmetryPlane, empty, zeroGradient. None of these solved my problem. I have changed several numerical scheme. I was not luckier there. Best regards, Nathanael. |
