I do not want to go into the complications of LES since I will be using kOmegaSST only.

The problem i am facing now is that in the pitzDaily case does not show continuous vortices as it showed with LES. I am using kOmegaSST turbulence model. I am using wall functions and my flow has a very high reynolds number.

Have you set the right y+ values (Or in other meaning, first cell height) to the correct values?
Provided links has a comprehensive procedure to calculate first cell height.

Right now I am working on kkLOmega model which is best for capturing laminar turbulent transition.

I will report if I get anything useful.

Hi, I want to add skin roughness to my LES turbulent mode , is it possible? I found in LES mode the surface is smooth. How can I do that?
