SimpleFOAM issues solving laminar and Kepsilon

Hey all,

I am very new to openfoam and linux in general and I am struggling with trying to get solutions for some coursework.

We were tasked with modifying the motorbike tutorial to model a cylinder at three mesh densities (coarse, mid and refined) in a free stream using three different tubulence models - KOmegaSST, laminar & Kepsilon. I have managed to solve these these three cases using the KOmega as the turbulence model so I turned my attention to solving it using the laminar turbulence model.

I edited the RASProperties file and changed the turbulence model to laminar and turned turbulence to off. However whenever I run these jobs it crashes about 1/5 of the way through.

As for the Kepsilon case could someone suggest a good tutorial to edit from the examples provided by openFOAM or the best way to approach this?

I have attached a link to a dropbox file so if anyone that is kind enough to offer help can have a proper look at my problem.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Nothing Here

The file you're looking for has been deleted or moved.

That's what your link pointed me to, I'm afraid. Can you check that the case is actually available to other people?

All the best,

A
