Hi Vince,
I term of references you can look in my thesis and our 2012 paper accompanying waves2Foam. Besides that, several people have been discussing breaking in this thread, and the references on the waves2Foam wiki might also be helpful. Kind regards, Niels

Hello, I am trying to install waves2Foam but I am a beginner with both (OpenFOAM & Ubuntu), I am not quite sure what to do at this step
The output should be placed in FOAM_USER_APPBIN, so modify Make/files so it reads waveFoam.C EXE = $(FOAM_USER_APPBIN)/waveFoam I assume that I have to write that at the console but just copy and paste? (I apologize if someone asked this at the past and I did not read it) ---- Hello Vince, I will try to simulate waves and breaking waves as soon as I am able to install waves2Foam got tons of material about it ---- Can I install waves2Foam in OpenFOAM 2.2.1? At the list they do not have the new version, but I dont know if that is just because they have not made an update still ---- Someone has a tutorial case of waveFoam? I made some modifications to the interFoam case but I am not quite sure how to create the pistonboundary Last edited by wyldckat; August 25, 2018 at 14:03. Hi Arthur,
Have you tried the tutorial folder on the svn repository for waves2Foam. You can easily check it out by following the instructions on the wiki. Kind regards, Niels

Hi Vince and Maralady,
As I already posted, I'm working on breaking waves. I'm trying to obtain the same results as Niels did. I hope to post here some results as soon possible, in order to share our ideas. |
