plotting residual

hello FOAMers, does somebody know why pyFoam isnt working when i want to plot my residuals? after i mapped the simulation (i use icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam) i type the following:
icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam >log & pyFoamPlotWatcher.py log

but nothing happens, it just solves the simulation, but there are no reisudals..any idea?

i also tried it with this

icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam >log 2>&1 & pyFoamPlotWatcher.py log

and of course with gnuplot...nithing worked out..

is here somebody who has experience with plotting residuals of multiphase flow??

Are you writing all this in one line? I'd be surprised if that works. Having the PlotWatcher in the next line should work.

If you want to start the run AND plot it use pyFoamPlotRunner.py

Hold on: icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam. That doesn't solve any equations. Which residuals do you want to plot?
