Hi together
Just downloaded 2.3 and tried to play around a little bit. I'm wondering little bit about the split btw. cyclicAMI and cyclicACMI and would be really happy if somebody could explain me a little better. cyclicAMI: The say that for "low weight" it uses kind of a zeroGradient boundary condition. So can this be used as "bridgeOverlap" of 1.5 version? I guess zeroGradient is not really appropriate for any kind of flow quantity at a wall... cyclicACMI: The implementation of a "bridgeOverlap" function seams to be better here but I was unable to use cyclicACMI for a "rotational" geometry yet. It always tells me --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Inconsistent ACMI patches AMI1 and AMI2. Patches should have identical topology Is it possible at all to use cyclicACMI for rotational transformation? Thanks for all kind of explanation |
