Default Accessing phi() on arbitrary internal face

Hi,

assuming I have a labelList of arbitrary faces of my internal mesh. How can I access phi() on that faces to calculate the massFlow in my boundary condition routine?

I tried

this->patch().boundaryMesh().mesh().phi()[faceLabel];

without success.
