Dear all,

I want to do a 3D unsteady simulation begin with steady state solution. So I want to mapField my steady solution to unsteady case. The are both the same mesh. But when I run the command
It gives a lot of warning shown below:
I also checked the mapped result with paraview, nothing happens. Any idea??
PS: There is cyclicAMI interface BC in my model.

FOAM Warning :

Hi,

as you've got identical meshes did you use -consistent flag for mapFields?

Hi Alexey

I did use -consistent flag for mapField. The command is like this:
"mapField ../xxx -sourceTime latestTime -consistent"

Best regards

Hi,

if you got really identical geometries and BCs, maybe it'll be easier just to copy latest time folder from one simulation to 0 folder of the other?
