Dear all,
I want to do a 3D unsteady simulation begin with steady state solution. So I want to mapField my steady solution to unsteady case. The are both the same mesh. But when I run the command It gives a lot of warning shown below: I also checked the mapped result with paraview, nothing happens. Any idea?? PS: There is cyclicAMI interface BC in my model. -------------- FOAM Warning : From function Foam::List<Foam::tetIndices> Foam:olyMeshTetDecomposition::faceTetIndices(con st polyMesh&, label, label) in file meshes/polyMesh/polyMeshTetDecomposition/polyMeshTetDecomposition.C at line 570 No base point for face 480071, 4(118649 43440 43439 118650), produces a valid tet decomposition. -------------- Best regards, Ye |

Hi,
as you've got identical meshes did you use -consistent flag for mapFields? |

Hi Alexey
I did use -consistent flag for mapField. The command is like this: "mapField ../xxx -sourceTime latestTime -consistent" Best regards Ye |

Hi,
if you got really identical geometries and BCs, maybe it'll be easier just to copy latest time folder from one simulation to 0 folder of the other? |
