velocity profile concave

Dear All,
I am simulating laminar flow in annular region between two cylinders with constant heat flux at inner wall. Temperature profile Vs. Axial location at any given radial location is as shown below. Using buoyantSimpleFoam solver.

Any explanation why it is getting flatter near outlet (tried both options of inletOutlet or zeroGradient).

Thanks in advance for help.

Greetings Ramana and welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately you have not given us much information to work with. Please follow the instructions given here: How to give enough info to get help

Because the only guess I'm able to do is that the mesh is incorrectly defined for your case.

Best regards,
Bruno

could solve the problem

Dear Bruno,
Thanks for your reply. I searched for possible problem with meshing. But could not find.

But, I could solve the problem. The problem is with convergence criterion and the temperature profile did not converge, though the code seem to be saying "converged".
after improving convergence criterion, I could attain the temperature profile which is realistic.

Thanks for your reply

ramana
