Alter simpleFoam, so that it solves for gradP

I wish to alter simpleFoam solver so that it solves for gradP (=grad(p)) as a variable, instead of solving for p. In effect, I do not wish to have p as an IOobject. Instead, gradP should be there.
What changes should I make? Thanks.
