Dear my friends
I have a question?
How can I simulate non-premixed combustion in a large scale kiln(e.g. Cement kiln with 60 m length and 4 m diameter) in open Foam?
Until now I simulated above kiln with reacting foam solver, but solution is diverged due to over-prediction of temperature. Temperature limit is increased into 10000 kelvin? what is the problem with this? Is from boundary condition? Is from control condition of the solution? or ...
The big problem that I have : limitation of grid size and number of mesh due to a large dimensions of the kiln.
What can I do? Are there similar simulation in open Foam for large scale kilns?
please help
thanks a lot
Fateh.
