Greetings All
I am trying to simulate a bluff-body stabilized flame with a wedge-typed grid (2D). I have attached pics of my instantaneous velocity and temperature along with the mean values. Time of solution is 0.044 seconds. Although the mean values of velocity seems reasonable, the shape of instantaneous values are not attractive and some fluid lumps with increased values are observed. I have used turbulentInlet Boundary condition for velocity profiles. According to Instantaneous temperature pic, I think that my solution is not stable. However, with the same Boundary Conditions I get reasonable results for simple jet flames. Would some body PLZ hint me that according to these pics does my solution goes in right path? or otherwise hint me that how can I get stable results? Especially, why my instantaneous velocity is in this shape? PS: In case of any requirements, I can send my files. Regards Bobi |
