rcp.attach()
 

I cannot find a description of rcp.attach() or rcp.detach() anywhere so would someone please enlighten me on what the attach/detach states mean for the regionCouple patch.

It seems from the conjugateHeatSimpleFoam tutorial (foam-extend-3.0) that the patch must be attached when the coupled heat-flow problem is solved and then detached for the fluid solve. But I would like to understand why.
