Hi,
for large cases the individual time step folders tend to get very large. In order to reduce disk space consumption I am wondering if I can prevent OF from writing some files to disk, e.g. ddt0(U1), U1_0. This question is about fields and files created by the solver. All fields I create in my code can be controlled by the read and write flags. However, how can I control the fields which are created by the existing code of the solver without changing the code? Is there a way to define a specific list of fields in controlDict? Has anybody any experience on this topic? |
