Simulation of rotoating objects using OpenFOAM

HI everyone

Is it possible to simulate flow over rotating objects like cylinder/compressor fans using openfoam version2.2.2 . If so can someone please provide me with some useful material to read so that i can understand and simulate the rotating case.

Thanks.

Hi Jetfire,

I'm not an expert on OpenFOAM or simulating rotating objects, but is it something like this you are looking for?

There should also be some tutorials on the rotating reference frame solvers (e.g. SRFSimpleFoam) in OpenFOAM that you can use to get started.
