stitchMesh seems not work

Hi, all:
I'm simulating a centrifugal pump impeller using LES. At the first step, I use single channel with periodic boundaries(design load). The result is good. Now I want to study the part load condition and use two channels. I use mergeMeshes to merge two channels together and then use stitchMesh to stitch the overlapped face. However, the result shows no difference in the two channels, while in the PIV experiment, significant rotating stall is observed. It seems that it still have a wall between the two channels so that the two channels simulate as the single channel case. How does this come from?

Add:::: I tried another way: I deleted the interface of two channels in ICEM and then imported to OF, so I don't need to do the above steps, however, the result turns out to be the same

A quick look at the boundaries: hub, shroud, in, out and two periodic boundaries. No excess boundaries.

Here is the geometry

And let's have a look at the velocity distribution in the two channels

obviously the two channels are the same:(
