Dear Foamers,
I would like to modelize a case like in the Torricelli's cylinder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torricelli%27s_law) with one inlet at the top and three outlets on the right side. I'm using buoyantSimpleFoam, removing turbulence and setting the temperature constant, so that I only have the effect of the gravity influencing my flow. I'm using atmospheric pressure for the BC of my three outlets for p_rgh and a small velocity is imposed at the inlet. p field is calculated from p_rgh. Pressure fields p_rgh and p are correctly computed, but since openFoam compute U using p_rgh = p - rho*g*h, I don't see the effect of the gravity on the flow (in fact, it is the same as using icoFoam, velocities at the three outlets are the same). I would like to use p instead of p_rgh to have my flow with different velocities at the outlet. The questions are: How can I make openFoam using my static pressure p? Should I use an other solver for my problem?
