Dear all,

Concerning turbomachinery applications, I would like to know from you if you ever heard about an unsteady PISO based solver used to solve a MRF case.
Since I was experiencing troubles with a steady SIMPLE MRF solver (MRFSimpleFoam), I wrote my own transient-PISO-MRF solver and found it was a good solution (probably because of PISO solver instead of SIMPLE), both in terms of numerical convergence and, subsequently, of engineering results (torque, energy, flow field,..). I would like to understand if there is anything new in the proposed approach or if it's something already known.

Thanks a lot.
