Hi,
I have a case where I want the height and the velocities at the Inlet boundary to be read from a data file "EVERY TIME STEP". The deltaT is "0.001". The simulation runs for only one(1) second. Hence my datafile contains 1000 entries for height Data which needs to be read every timestep as the boundary condition at the Inlet. I am using OF3.1extended. Can someone help me?? Is there a way to properly do this in OpenFOAM 3.1 and if so are there any tutorials or examples to see...... I came across something called timeVaryingFixedValue which interpolates the values I give. However I want something that can read everytime step!!!! Please help.. It is an urgent need for my undergraduate research.... |

Hi,
you can use timeVaryingFixedValue and choose the time step in controlDict equal to your deltaT of 0.001. kind regards Florian |

Thank You
Can you please be descriptive about how the case should be set?? Are there any examples to refer? Like other than the BC type what other fields are to be set and how the time directories need to be defined!!! |
