BigPapi34 is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I currently have a modified solver in OpenFOAM-2.1.x that takes the original interPhaseChangeFoam solver, adds dynamic meshing and uses the solver approach from transientSimpleDyMFoam as opposed to the pimple algorithm. I know there is a new solver in 2.3.x but I wish to pursue this at present.

I have managed to get initial results for modelling a pump in terms of the formation of the vapour at the leading edge of the blades. However, I am also interested in looking at the head drop curve (NPSH vs Head) as is possible in CFX and am not able to see any head drop as I decrease the suction pressure as yet.

Does anyone know if this is should be feasible in OpenFOAM or if there is a reason why this won't be possible due to limitations i the cavitation models?

Thanks in advance.
