Good evening alltogether...
I was wondering the following thing .... I have a big case in which a turbulent flow field evolves over time and I have a smaller case in which I would like to use a small part of the big case (like a cut-out-surface) as inflow. I thought now if it might be possible to cut a surface out of the flow field using "surfaces" from libsamling but using it on a cellSet that I defined with topoSet and save it. That seems to be possible ... right? Is it? I was also wondering if it afterwards will be possible to somehow map those slices to the smaller case using timeVaryingMappedFixedValue on the inlet. Would that be possible? I think the cells have to kind of line up right? Anybody out there who did something like that and could give me a hint? Thanks a lot! Best, Thomas |
