Pressure loss coefficient
Hi Foamers,
I am constantly confronted with pressure loss coefficients if i do some CFD-Simulations. So I ask you, is it possible to consider a pressure loss cofficient zeta at the outlet? deltaP = zeta * v^2 * rho/2 Thanks for your help! |
rmcfd, every point in a flow field has its own pressure coefficient. So, yes. You can consider a pressure loss coefficient at the outlet
Keep in mind that pressure loss coefficient is used to describe the relative pressures in the flow field. So, the velocity that you are using in the equation should be the freestream velocity. |
