TaylorM is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I am seeking to understand the various submodels under the subModel category in the reactingCloud1Properties file in fireFoam. The file in question can be found in the github repository here: https://github.com/fireFoam-dev/fire...oud1Properties

There are a number of different subModels, with different options, listed inside the subModels tag: particleForces, injectionModels, dispersionModel, patchInteractionModel, heatTransferModel, compositionModel, phaseChangeModel, postProcessingModel, surfaceFilmModel, radiation, and then a few other categories which I believe are options for these various submodels. I know there are a few different options from each of them (like liquidEvaporation and liquidEvaporationBoil for phaseChangeModel). I believe this is an imported class from another FOAM model, though I'm not sure which one, perhaps reactingParcelFoam.

My fundamental question is how do I learn about all of these submodels and how they work, what their various options are. My goal is to understand exactly what I am doing when I inject particles. I haven't been able to find anything like a comprehensive guide and I was hoping someone with more experience could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for all the help!
Taylor
