Hi all,
I have a 2D (x,y) flow with heat transferred into that flow through the walls with normal z, so it's basically a flat heated channel: htc_view.jpg "htc" is a field with the local heat transfer coefficient coefficients and I'd now like to solve the temperature field. As a first step, a constant heat flux is sufficient and the wall temperature should be adjusted to allow for the desired heat flux. How can I impose such a boundary condition? I thought about adapting the fixedGradient BC, but I'm not sure how that would work in my case. Are there other BCs that could work? Regards Christoph |

hi
You mentioned htc- local heat transfer coefficient. My query is about post processing of heat transfer coefficient. The utility wallHeatTransferCoeff is giving error, I have gone through all related threads but still I am figuring it out so any hints for htc calculation or post processing would be appreciated. Thank you |
