Hello!
I tried to port the subset mesh motion of foam-extend 3.1 to OF 2.3, but it does not work in the right way. The motion solver table can not be found at runtime. Maybe someone has already implement it in OF 2.3 and can share the source code with me. Thanks! Regards, Christoph |

Did you manage to do it? Best regards Hao |

Hi Hao,
I am sorry, but I didn't! But with spending some time it should be feasible. I wrote my own class for mesh motion for my specific problem - was the simplest way. If you have a solution, maybe you can post it here! Best regards, Christoph |

Dear Christoph,
Can you explain a bit how you did that in foam-extend 3.1?

Hello!
I did not use OF extend, I used OF 2.3 after all. Finally, I modified an existing class, because all basic classes for the mesh motion capabilities are includes in OF 2.3. I modified the class which is used for add and remove layers of a piston. If you are interested in my work, I can share some details and if a found a simple case I can also send it to you. Regards, Christoph |
