symmetryPlane problem and boundaryField::.*

Dear all,

I am new in OpenFoam and I am still learning in these days! Actually, I can manage to build an axial mesh model from a High Pressure vessel. After I get the mesh and collapsed 5 degrees I stopped with this error in my boundaryField.
As far as I know something is wrong with symmetryPlane and type, I changed but the same problem moved to other patch which can not be symmetry.

I would be grateful if you could give me some advice.

Regards
Schmetterling

Hi Schmetterling,
To create an axi simetric mesh you must use the wedge type boundary. For an example see the front and back boundaries of the NozzleFlow2D tutorial, that can be found in the tutorials/multiphase/interFoam/les directory in version 2.3. You may also look at this wiki page https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/M...s/AxiSymmetric
Best Regards,
Paulo
