Hi everyone,
I'm trying to simulate condensation phenomena in a supersonic nozzle. first, steam enters the nozzle at inlet and Mach reach to 1 at the Throat and the in supersonic section of nozzle due non-equilibrium conditions, droplets appear. I think twoPhaseEulerFoam is appropriate but I can't model condensation in it. Is that suitable solver? and How I insert phase change in it? Please Help. |

When it comes to the topic I'm not an expert but in this Master's Thesis a solver called interEvapCondPhaseChangeFoam has been used.

But in this Thesis interPhaseChangeFoam is used that solves incompressible fluids with interface capturing. in my topic compressibility due to Mach>1, is important and I think It can't simulate my model. |
