Hi,

can anyone explain about allrun file in openfoam.

1. Why we use this file?

2. How to run this file?

3.After running this file how it will effect the mesh?

Thanks in advance.

It is a script file, for running all the commands related to the case it is there. It helps in efficient testing of code. It wound not affect the mesh. You can open it using any editor and see for yourself the commands in it. If you have tried running any case manually, like the icoFoam cavity case, you can easily understand the command in Allrun file.
Now, being a script file it should be run using ./ command, i.e. ./Allrun.
