Dear Foamers,
I am looking for a way to calculate a variety of exotic time-averaged turbulent stress components, e.g. \overline{rho'u'v'} (where x = \overline{x} + x' etc.), either for each cell or at a probe location. I'm not using any turbulence model, just DNS. My first guess was to use a modification of the fieldAverage tool, but I'm not quite sure how to go about this. I am not experienced with C++ in general, but have done some basic modifications to OF code before. I've looked through the forums and although I've found similar stuff (e.g. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...rocessing.html), I don't see anything that actually matches my problem. Is there anyone who is experienced with this subject that can help me? Many thanks in advance! |
