heat flux B.C. in closed volume

Dear Foamer,

I have one question about boundary condition..

I want to simulate closed volume with heater(constant heat flux) at the bottom.

I think there is 'energy in', so one of the boundary condition should be 'energy out'.

What kind of boundary condition can simulate 'energy out'.?

Hi,

A fixed temperature should work. This will give you a gradient at the wall and hence it will remove heat.

Tom
