Hello everyone,
I am currently simulating a wave flume and i am using the probes function to extract the velocity vector at the middle of the flume. I don't have any problem with the data extraction but I was wondering something about the probes function itself: The velocity data i get represents the instantaneous velocity or the phase averaged velocity? I am asking this because i need to do some data treatment and i am not sure what these velocity values actually represent.. Maybe someone knows the answer? Thanks! |
