I was wondering if there is any existing solver for multiphase flow problem using Eulerian-Lagrangian models.I have experience in OpenFoam, but I'm new to multiphase simulations using OpenFoam. So please help me. Thank you.

Dear Souresh,

the short answer is: yes.

Too short to be helpful. So, to be a little more effective, let me add some more info.
There are several solvers available for dispersed multiphase flows, already in the standard official distribution, able to deal with solid particles (particle laden flow with instantaneus contact interaction) and liquid particle like sprays. Recently a new class has been introduced for the soft collision of particles (Hertzian model) that should be able to treat granular flows.
If you have a look at the directory $FOAM_APPS/solver/lagrangian you will find the main applications available. The corresponding tutorials are in $FOAM_TUTORIALS/lagrangian .

Several applications have been developed by independent researchers, like the excellent CFDEM application that mixes OpenFoam and LIGGGHTS.

Multiphase flows is not a narrow field and the selection of the right solver really depend on the problem you need to invstigate.

With best regards,
Franco
