Which would be the most suitable standard solver in ejector problem?
Hello,
I am trying to solve an ejector (the suction of a low pressure fluid in a secondary nozzle by a high pressure fluid accelerated in a primary convergent-divergent nozzle) with gas in both of the nozzles. The problem is expected to be super-sonic due to the use of the convergent-divergent nozzle. The fluid is the same in both of the nozzles and it is considered compressible. Which could be the best standard solver for this case? I have though in doing a density-based approach so it could be used rhoCentralFoam as standard solver but I do not know how important is the Mach number in the selection of the solver and sonicFoam should be used. The point is that sonicFoam is transient and I want to run steady simulation. I do not know if the rhoSimpleFoam could be a suitable solver also for my case. Any suggestion? Regards, |
Answer
Did you find out what solver was best suited for ejectors? If so, what was it?
