twoPhaseEulerFoam velocity residual

Hello Guys,

This is my first post here and I'm a new OpenFoam user.

I've been doing the tutorials of the twoPhaseEulerFoam solver and I wanted to check the residuals from the output using the foamLog utility. However, in all the tutorials only the pressure and energy data of the residuals are created, but there are no velocity files. I tried adding "momentumPredictor yes;" to the PIMPLE section of the fvSolution file but had no success. Do you know how to output the velocity residuals in this solver?
I'm running 2.4.0 version.

Any help will be welcomed :)

Hi,

Did you add "momentumPredictor yes;" only for the foamLog part? You have to rerun the tutorial with this setting to solve the momentum equation and get residuals for U. The foamLog is just a script that looks at a logfile.

Regards,
Tom

agaile, have you managed to get the velocity residuals?
