Hello Foamers,

I'm using the reactingParcelFilmFoam for Spray and WallFilm-Modeling. The Solver for the flowfield is the PIMPLE. So definitiv implicit.

And I was told, that the solver for the WallFilm is explicit. Is that correct?!

To speed up the Simulation I tried maxCo = 20 and like expected it works for the PIMPLE. But by mistake I did the maxCo=20 for the WallFilm and it works too. Shouldn't it be instable if the solver is explicit and the Courant-number >1 ?

Does anybody know if the wallfilm is solved explicit or implicit?
