Hello Foamers

I have been working on a k-e interFoam model with a GAMG solver of free surface flow through a fish passage structure. This scheme is based upon previous work I have successfully completed on MEL structures plus review of tutorials, documentation and the forum.

However I have a significant instability that I have not been able to resolve. The current version of the model crashes after several iterations with excessively small / large Courant values which leads me to the initial and boundary conditions. The initial conditions are based upon the phases being at rest.

This model is based upon a steady flow and the mesh has been created using Salome and checkMesh reports a satisfactory result. I have created a number of meshes with the latest being a very coarse tetrahedral mesh.

I have been trying to resolve this for weeks - any assistance or guidance will be greatly appreciated and I will be sure to update the thread for others in future.
