Dear All,
I encountered this problem when I specify a certain time and space varying boundary condition in interFoam based on the alpha and U at different positions and time. In parallel simulations I am unable to get similar results even refining several times. I have verified that if I use an ihFoam boundary condition I am able to get converged results by running in parallel and also refinement. So I have narrowed down the problem to the timeVaryingMappedFixedValue BC. Does anyone has this problem and are there any better alternatives that fixes my problem? EDIT: I have realised that the problem did not occur just in parallel. In fact, refining the cells will produce a different results. I have previous tried refining for ihFoam and I have ensure that it no longer changes so I can narrow down the issue to timeVaryingMappedFixedValue.
