Problem running angledDuct tutorial of porousSimpleFoam

I am quite new to cfd and presently trying to learn openfoam. While running the porousSimpleFoam solver for angledDuct tutorial problem, an error crops up as this: Create time Create mesh for time = 0 SIMPLE: no convergence criteria found. Calculations will run for 100 steps. Reading field p Reading field U --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: Please supply either 'volumetricFlowRate' or 'massFlowRate' and 'rho' file: /home/anindya1/OpenFOAM/anindya1-3.0.0/run/tutorials/incompressible/porousSimpleFoam/porous/0/U.boundaryField.inlet from line 45 to line 47. From function flowRateInletVelocityFvPatchVectorField::flowRateI nletVelocityFvPatchVectorField(const fvPatch&, const DimensionedField<vector, volMesh>&, const dictionary&) in file fields/fvPatchFields/derived/flowRateInletVelocity/flowRateInletVelocityFvPatchVectorField.C at line 98. FOAM exiting Please help resolve the problem. Also please suggest a way to modify the case for a flow through a pipe with porous medium in between. Thanks in advance. |
