Floating point exception after changing from straight pipe to bend

I simulated a straight pipe like the one you see in the figure below with uniform bc's for U, k and epsilon and everything went fine.
I then used the same bc's and configuration files to simulate a bend like the one in figure below but I get 'floating point exception' and the simulation crashes before the first iteration.
Can anyone give me a hint on what's happening here?

If it crashes before the 1st iteration something is definitely wrong with your setup or, more likely, the new mesh. Posting the actual log file would help. Run checkMesh -allTopology -allGeometry as well to convince yourself there aren't any obvious errors in the grid.
