Hello Foamers,
I'm planning to use the symmetry plane boundary condition to minimise my domain, let's say it's a 3D domain with a cylinder and the symmetry plane cuts this cylinder in the mid length of its span.
Now in curle setting. do I need to make any special setting?
If I simulated the sound from this half length object, is there any scientific way to take the other half into account, i.e some correction factors.
thanks for your help in advance.
A - Habib

If you use libAcoustics Curle, you can set lRef = 0.5, so whole aerodymanic force will be doubled and then p' will be calculated.
a_habib and guanjiang.chen like this.

Thanks Ilya,
Actually this is what came to my mind, but I needed an expert opinion.

Look into the Curle.C code

Is it the same for FWH? I could not find it in the code.
