Hi,

I am facing a very simple problem. I'd like to model a jet in an open environment. The jet is simply hot air with known inlet velocity and temperature. The jet fires toward the +y direction, while gravity is directed towards -y.

I need help with finding the appropriate BC's for p, p_rgh, T, U and alphat. The boundaries are straightforward: ground, inlet and atmosphere. The domain is a simple 5 m X 10 m rectangle, with the inlet (0.2 m diameter) at the center of the ground patch. All other patches are supposed to be open. My case is currently laminar, but I eventually want a LES simulation.

I need to use buoyantPimpleFoam, as I want to include gravity and compressibility effects.

Any help is appreciated.
