Hello everyone,

I'm running a 2D Lid-driven cavity flow of Re=1000 at mesh size of 100x100x1. The solver used in this case is pimpleFoam. I set the maxCo to 40 and the results are fast and very accurate when compared to the results from Ghia et al. (1982). I'm struggling to find the reasoning behind this? I thought Courant number should be less or equal to one. However, for my case, it can go up to 40 and still produce an accurate result. I have attached the links to the files of the case. Thank you all for reading this. I hope somebody can help clarify this situation over here. Thanks
