Drag coefficient and area

Hi, new to OpenFOAM but have been going through the user guide. I am trying to build a case that will take a 3D model such as an .obj and run CFD simulations in order to generate a coefficient of drag value and area (assuming 1 unit = 1 meter in this case). I want to have that case run several simulations over various orientations of the object such as front, back, both sides, top, bottom, etc. What is the best way to take the model and generate these values?

EDIT: The main purpose is for simulating completely submerged submarines if that gives any more info.

You can get the drag coeffiecient by adding a functionobject called forceCoeffs in the controlDict file. Search the Forum/Tutorials for information on how to use it.
